Anne started a career in insurance at USAA in 2000, working in a variety of roles including underwriting, risk management, and compliance. A U.S. Army brat, Anne took great pride in serving the military membership at USAA from 2000 to 2015.  While Anne was enjoying her career at USAA, she simultaneously completed her undergraduate studies. Anne later enrolled in the inaugural Evening Program at St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she completed her law degree while working full time at USAA.

Presently, Anne’s practice focuses on defense of first party insurance claims with clients all over the state of Texas.  Anne’s concentration is first party property bad faith claims related to fire losses, hurricanes, mold, hail and wind.  
 
Prior to joining Lindow Stephens Shultz LLP, Anne practiced at one of the largest personal injury firms in San Antonio and sharpened her skills as a litigator, counselor, and advocate.  Before that, Anne practiced as an insurance defense attorney and litigator for Liberty Mutual, gaining experience in civil litigation of personal injury, premises liability, commercial litigation, and workers compensation.
 
Anne was nominated as a Best Lawyer in the 2018 and 2020 Scene in S.A. Magazine.

Outside of work, you can find Anne spending time with her beloved husband, three stepchildren, family, or friends. She is the proud Aunt to four nephews and two nieces. Anne enjoys listening to music, cooking, playing board games, trivia, golfing, cycling, and spending time outdoors.  Anne loves studying the bible, shooting pool, and playing guitar. Anne has served in various capacities at her church in addition to being a longstanding member, and she presently serves on the church Board of Directors.

When she has the opportunity, Anne enjoys learning about historic preservation and conservation. She has completed a few furniture rehab projects and is presently fixin’ up her 1923 Folk Victorian house.
