Dallas native turned Alamo lover, Ryen Maddox joined LSSMB in 2025. During her time in Dallas, Ryen earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from UT-Dallas, where she also served as a teaching assistant in Behavioral Neuroscience and Social Psychology. Combining her love for the mind and passion for helping people, Ryen embarked on her next journey of attending law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Ryen worked as a litigation paralegal and gained over ten years experience handling civil litigation matters

Outside of office hours, Ryen can be found doing all things outdoors. Ryen especially enjoys gardening, hiking, sunbathing, and going on nature walks with her dog. When not outdoors, Ryen can be found indoors curled up with a good book and her dog or cooking something delicious seasoned with homemade herbs.
